Papis to make V8 Supercar debut

Max Papis will make his V8 Supercar debut this year after joining Dick Johnson Racing for the Gold Coast 600. The 42-year-old Italian, whose only high-profile race this year was the Daytona 24 Hours, will share one of Dick Johnson Racing's Ford Falcons with team regular Steven Johnson at the event at Surfers Paradise. The former Formula 1 racer and Champ Car race winner is not the only international driver to be named in DJR's Surfers line-up.
